Organisation hours per day for invoicing
Back in January, we introduced the ability for Project Managers to set hours or days as the unit of time used in invoices at a project level. To enhance this function, we have now added a setting at an organisation level to enable you to set different hours per day at an organisation level.
e.g. You may invoice New Zealand clients based on an 8 hour day, and invoice Australian clients based on a 7.6 hour day, so require different organisations to have different hours per day for invoicing .

When you create new organisations, you will be required to set up the hours per day for invoicing. However, if you already have existing organisations, the “Default hours per day on rate cards” will be inherited to your existing organisations.
If the “Default hours per day on rate cards” hours are subsequently updated, the hours will not feed through to any organisation, so you will also need to update the Organisation hours per day for invoicing.
