Entering Expenses
Entering your expenses in Projectworks is easy and can be done from any page by clicking the green [+New] button.

Steps to Submit an Expense Claim

On any page, select [+ New].

Choose Expense.

Pick Already paid for or Planned or unpaid expense.

Select the Project and Budget the expense is for.

Select Paid for with my own money or Company Paid

Enter a Comment.

Enter a Purchase date

Select Expense Type.

Add Price and any applicable Sales Tax

Attach a receipt.

Click Submit.

Verify the request appears in Pending; your manager is notified (per org settings).
How you know it worked

Pop-up success message in bottom right hand corner “✅ The expense claim has been submitted”

You should see the new request in My Expense Claims as Pending (with correct dates and type).

The request status updates to Approved after manager approval.
