FAQs
What are the known gaps?
We are actively working on the following improvements:
-
Shift Right may fail due to posting gaps, even when no hours fall within those gaps
(this can occur if there are future “no posting” periods for a person, even if the shift does not place any hours into those periods) -
Future Hours total may display incorrectly after shifting bookings
(totals can change when bookings move in or out of the visible range, and will correct after a page refresh) -
Ability to pin columns so you don’t lose context when scrolling horizontally
-
Ability to freeze rows to retain header and footer visibility
-
Restore clicking on a Person or Placeholder in the Resourcing table to view details
(Placeholders open in a popup with editing capabilities; People open in a separate page) -
Restore the ability to bulk update future resourcing via popup
(future resourcing can currently be updated directly in the grid on a per-slot basis) -
Warnings for non-uniform distributions when editing weekly/monthly values over uneven daily/weekly allocations
-
Restore access to detailed comments and resourcing history
(including Weekly/Daily comments when viewing in Monthly/Weekly modes, and the Resourcing Log/Audit Trail) -
Restore the ability to match timecode allocations with resourced hours from the row actions menu (pulling allocated hours into resourcing without double entry)
What’s coming next?
Over the next few months, we’ll be introducing:
-
Bulk shifting (e.g. move an entire project or budget by days/weeks/months)
-
Multi-period shifts (e.g. shift a resource forward by 6 weeks in one action)
-
Drag-and-drop interactions
-
Support for Budget-level resourcing within Project > Resourcing
We will also extend the new experience to:
-
Resourcing by Project
-
Resourcing by Person
