Time entry adjustments for invoicing

You can now adjust time entries before you invoice, so that your WIP (Work in Progress) and Month End Billing reports reflect the revenue that you expect to invoice for.

Don’t worry! This does not impact the cost of the billable time, it just enables the adjusted hours to be recognised, and invoiced, without having to adjust these hours in an invoice.

Time entry custom fields

Custom fields can now be added to time entries. They can be added when:

Time entries are written-off (so that the time is not invoiced);
Time entry hours are adjusted for invoicing (written-up or written-down); or
Time entries are logged or edited in a timesheet.

Time entry custom fields for time entry adjustments have replaced “Invoice Overrides”, so Override Reasons are also required if you:

write-off time entries; or
adjust billable time entries for invoicing.

If Override Reasons should be made optional, your Projectworks administrator can edit the custom field.
