Resourcing Redesign (Beta) updates
- Capacity status on person rows:
In Resourcing by Person, each person's row is now colour-coded for every period, so you can see who is free, partially booked, fully booked, over capacity or unavailable without expanding them. The colour uses the person's total resourcing across all projects, even when filters hide some of them, and takes leave and holidays into account. Person rows in Resourcing by Project are colour-coded too, and update as you edit. A Time Off icon shows on the person row when they have leave or holidays in that period. - New legend:
The legend is now a strip above the table instead of a pop-up. You can hide or show individual items, such as capacity colours, pencilled hours, time off and comments, and your choices are remembered. - Clearer pencilled hours:
Pencilled hours now show with a dashed border instead of a pencil icon. Time Off uses a new calendar icon. - Delete Resourcing in bulk:
A new "Delete Resourcing" action in the project and budget menus removes all current and future resourcing for that project or budget in one step. Past locked periods are not affected. - Update Future Hours from the row menu:
Person and placeholder rows now have an "Update Future Hours" option in their menu. It opens the same Update Resourcing window as the Future Hours link. - Choose your row order:
For Budget Level Resourced projects, you can now choose whether budgets or people appear first under each project. Drag the rows in the new Order By section of Hide/Show, in Resourcing by Project or a project's Resourcing tab. This replaces the previous budget grouping toggle. - Change history for row actions:
Shift, Pencil-In, Confirm and Match Timecode Allocations now record entries in the resourcing change history, as they did in the previous experience. Comments added to a cell are also recorded.
