Deleting a user will remove all traces of them from Projectworks, and they should only be deleted if you have erroneously added them.
You can delete a person in two ways:

All People list screen

Navigate to the All People list screen

Click the three horizontal ellipses on the person’s row

Select “Delete User”

Navigate to, or search for the person to get to their workbench

Click the top right button “Actions” then “Delete user…”

If a person has left, or is leaving, the business they should be deactivated (as opposed to deleted).
You will be prompted to confirm deleting the user, however the user will not be able to be deleted for many reason, including if they:

have time, leave or expenses logged against them;

have been resourced to any project;
-
have been added to a timecode;
-
are the account manager for a project, company or an invoice;

are the project manager for a project, company or an invoice;
-
have reconciled an invoice or expense from an accounting system;
-
have updated a project forecast; or
-
are included in a user cost rate card.
If any of the above apply to the user restricting your ability to delete them, you should deactivate them.
Access control
Users with an access level that “Can add & administer people” can deactivate and activate people.
Projectworks administrators go to: Settings > Users > Access Levels, select the Access Level and go to the “People” tab and select Can administer.
