Financial reporting terminology changes
We've tightened up some of the language in our financial reporting so it's clearer whether you're looking at what's been invoiced or what's been recognised as revenue. A few of the changes you'll see:
- "Forecasts" is now "Invoice Forecasts" — a clearer name for planning future invoices, not accounting revenue.
- "Projected Revenue" is now "Projected Invoicing" (including "Projected Revenue at Completion," which is now "Projected Invoicing at Completion").
- Some margin figures now carry an "Invoicing Basis" label (for example, "Margin - Invoicing Basis"), so it's clear the figure is calculated from invoices rather than recognised revenue.
None of the underlying numbers or calculations have changed, only the labels.
This is also the first step toward more comprehensive Revenue Recognition capabilities, for customers who need to track earned revenue separately from invoicing.
Resourcing Redesign (Beta) updates
We’ve made more improvements to the Resourcing Redesign (Beta), including restored functionality from the previous resourcing experience and new filters.
- See who changed resourcing and quickly make updates. You can now see who last changed a resourcing entry, restoring functionality from the previous resourcing experience. You can also quickly view comments and update a specific person’s timeslot across multiple projects.
- Improved inline comments. See the word count as you type and quickly resize the comment field to make longer comments easier to review and edit.
- More filters in My Resourcing and Person Resourcing. We’ve restored the Contractual Status filter and added filters for Confirmed/Penciled, Project Organisation, Project Manager, Account Manager, Company, and Project Type.

Exclude Budgets from Invoice Budget Tables
You can now exclude budgets from the budget tables in your invoices if you have the feature enabled in you System Invoice Settings.
If budget tables are included in the invoice template that you use to invoice your project, there may be some budgets that are used for internal overheads, milestones or other pieces of work that you don't want included in specific invoices. If the feature is enabled, you will have the ability to choose budgets to exclude when you create or edit an invoice.
If you have access to the Project Invoice Settings, and there are budgets that should never be included in the budget tables, you can set the “Exclude Budgets from Invoice Budget Table” setting to “Use excluded budgets from previous invoice”, so that the excluded budgets are inherited from the previous invoice.

Multi-line Expenses (Beta)
You can opt in to try out our new expense feature that supports expense claims with multiple lines per claim. Each expense line can be associated with any project the claimant has access to, to make it easy to submit a claim that spans across projects.
Note: If you opt into this beta, you will not be able to go back to the old expense experience.
We will be continuing work on expenses to enhance automatic line creation, along with attachment and supplier management.
